Cops for Cancer start their 850km ride
Thirteen first responders and community riders will begin a week-long trek today (Friday, Sept. 11), to raise money for childhood cancer research.
The Cops for Cancer Tour de North begins with a breakfast and send-off event in Fort St. John this morning before the 850 km ride throughout northern BC to Williams Lake.
Now, after training for months, “riders will visit communities and schools along the route to help raise vital funds for childhood cancer research.”
Throughout their tour, Cops for Cancer is inviting the public to come show their support with planned stops in Dawson Creek, Chetwynd, Prince George, Quesnel and Williams Lake:
