GP Legion hosting First Responders Appreciation event

A celebration for First Responders Appreciation Day will take place at the Grande Prairie Legion tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 12).

Local officers from GPPS will be in attendance, along with Enforcement Services and Mobile Outreach.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., residents are invited to attend the free barbecue event and learn more about first responders from GP Police, Enforcement Services and Mobile Outreach.

First Responders Appreciation Day has been held annually on Sept. 12 since 9/11 to show support for those on the front lines.
