Applications are open for 28 vacancies across nine boards, committees, and commissions with the city:

  • Assessment Review Board – three vacancies
  • Combative Sports Commission – six vacancies
  • Community Advisory Committee – five vacancies
  • Community Knowledge Campus Advisory Committee – two vacancies

“Public members on our boards, committees, and commissions play a meaningful role in how decisions are made at the city,” said Mayor Jackie Clayton. “They take the time to review information, consider different perspectives, and provide recommendations that help the council make informed decisions. We truly value the time and commitment these members bring to the process, and I encourage residents who are interested in serving their community in this way to consider applying.”

Interested applicants must be 18 years of age or older and meet the skill requirements for the position.

Applications are open for the groups until November 27, with the terms to begin in January of next year.
