Local fundraiser returns for another year

Organizers say over 60 local nonprofit groups have benefited from the “millions of dollars” raised in the annual Cars for Christmas Mega Lottery. 

Tickets are now on sale here. 

The grand prize package this year includes a brand new Mustang convertible and a brand new Chevy Silverado truck. 

Other vehicles, motorcycles, free gas for a year and free groceries for a year are also being given away. 

There is also the Christmas Cash 50/50 and the 12 Days of Christmas, where $12,000 is given away each day. 

The first early bird deadline is on October 6; the last one is on December 1. 

Ticket sales end on December 23.
