Storm win weekend double-header home opener over Bonnyville

The Grande Prairie Storm kicked off the AJHL regular season at home over the weekend, winning a double-header over the Bonnyville Pontiacs.

The Storm opened the season Friday night with a 6-1 victory, then again, winning 5-2 Saturday at Bonnetts Energy Centre.

The boys travel to Whitecourt on Wednesday, Sept. 23, to play the Wolverines. The Storm shutout the Wolverines in their last meeting during pre-season action on Sept. 11, 3-0.
