Frost advisory stretching across northwestern Alberta

A frost advisory is in effect for all of northwestern Alberta.

Environment Canada says temperatures are expected to fall below freezing tonight, resulting in patchy frost.

The weather office adds that damage to plants, trees, and crops is possible, and suggests taking preventative measures to protect cold-sensitive plants.
