GPPL digital services going down Sept. 25-29 for system migration

Grande Prairie Public Library will have limited services for the rest of September, starting Friday, Sept. 25.

The Regional Automation Consortium (TRAC) is moving the library’s systems to the cloud and will be offline from September 25 to 29, impacting self-checkout machines, the library lending lockers, and the TRACpac app.

While this migration is taking place, the library will remain open with limited services.

Afterwards, the library will be closed Sept. 30 to address the backlog caused by the migration.

Any items borrowed from the library due back during the outage will have their due dates automatically extended until Oct. 1.
