Beaverlodge author releases new book

A book described as a “sweet sports romance” is the latest work from a Beaverlodge author. 

Kirsten Clark’s book is called The Rabbit and tells a love story about two people who meet at a marathon. 

This is the third book Clark has released. 

Clark provided the following description in a news release. 

“Marley Jay Glassengain is at rock-bottom. A champion marathoner sidelined by injury, she’s relegated to the whims of her endorsement company, Momentum. So when Momentum decides Marley Jay will prepare medals at the Renovar Beach Marathon, and work as a pace rabbit, she has to agree.

But as she’s struggling to face this new reality, a mountain of a man begs to join her pace group. And he’s got the most incredible dimples …

Engineer Everest Lambert is tall. Like a mountain. And he’s been training for the Renovar Beach Marathon for months, pulling himself off the couch and onto the road to heal a broken heart. Now, he’s ready. But what he doesn’t bargain for is a pace rabbit with a swinging auburn ponytail that steals his attention.
