Reeve Amanada MacDonald & Deputy Bob Chrenek to serve another year

County of Grande Prairie Council acclaimed both its Reeve and Deputy Reeve during its organizational meeting today (Monday, Oct. 19).

Reeve Amanda McDonald was first elected Reeve last October after serving as deputy for a year, and says she “looks forward to building on the work already underway, listening to our residents and working with my fellow Councillors to address the opportunities and challenges facing our growing region.”

Bob Chrenek was acclaimed as Deputy Reeve for a second year in a row and says this role gives him an “opportunity to continue working collaboratively with Council to support the needs of our communities and make decisions that reflect the interests of County residents.”

“I value the perspectives residents bring forward and the opportunity to work together on practical solutions that strengthen our communities.”
