Grycan named AJHL Player of the Week

Grande Prairie local Bowen Grycan has been selected as the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of Week following a road trip in southern Alberta, where he led the league with five points over three games.

The 2006-born forward had two goals in the Storm’s 5-1 win over the Drumheller Dragons on October 14, and was also honoured as the Bunge AJHL Player of the Game. He recorded another goal against the Canmore Eagles two days later in a 3-1 win for the Storm. In the last game (October 21) before heading home, Grycan had two assists in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Calgary Canucks.

The AJHL says Grycan is second in team scoring with 10 points in 11 games played.
