The nomination deadline is on Thursday, October 28.

More information can be found here.

Elections will follow at regional meetings.

The Region 6 one will be held on November 17 in Grande Prairie. It will go from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Pomeroy Hotel.

Directors serve three-year terms and can serve up to three consecutive terms.

Eligible candidates are producers who have paid a service charge to a licensed grain dealer since August 1, 2024, and have grown canola in the area they want to represent.

The nomination deadline is Friday, October 30 at 4 p.m.

Alberta Pulse Growers says it has openings for advisors in all of its zones.

There are two openings in Zone 4, which takes in the Peace Country.

Each zone has up to eight advisors that support extension work in their areas. The organization says people who start as advisors often end up on the board of directors.

Anyone interested must have sold pulses and paid a service charge in the last two crop years.
