Saturday is provincial election day in British Columbia.

Three candidates are running in Peace River South.

They are Marcia Rose Dufresne for the BC NDP, incumbent Larry Neufeld for the Conservative Party and unaffiliated candidate Helen Scott.

In Peace River North, incumbent Independent MLA Jordan Kealy is being challenged by Curtis Whitford of the Conservative Party.

Polls will be open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Pacific time.

The provincial vote is being held a week after municipal elections were held in B.C.
