Slave Lake resident wins $1 million

A Slave Lake resident has won $1 million.

Surjit Minhas says she had to scan their $100 Luxe Multiplier Scratch & Win ticket multiple times just to count the zeroes she were seeing pass by.

“I think finally on the third scan I counted the zeroes backwards and knew how much it was,” Minhas told Lotto Spot. “I also got a copy of the receipt from the cashier.”

Minhas says she’s being practical with their winnings.
