Grande Prairie soccer player, rest of team Canada, open international tournament Wednesday

A Grande Prairie soccer player and her teammates with Team Canada are in Lima, Peru, for an international tournament.

Defender Amy Lynn Wyatt and Team Canada are at the IFA7 Super Cup.

This form of soccer has seven players per side on the pitch, not the usual 11.

Canada takes on Ecuador in its first game at 5 p.m. Alberta time today (Wednesday, Nov. 4).

Canada plays the host side from Peru Thursday, then Venezuela on Friday.

The final will be played on Sunday.
