Landslide damages home in Town of Peace River

No one was injured when a landslide occurred in the Town of Peace River this morning. 

Before 9 a.m., Peace River Fire Department, Town engineers, and Alberta Transportation were called the area in the Lower West Peace. A home was damaged and due to the slide, the Shaftesbury Trail has been closed near the Sea Can bridge. 

Alberta Transportation is assessing the scene. 

The Town of Peace River will provide more information once it becomes available.
