Grande Prairie’s CIBC Run for the Cure raises close to $50K

The cooler weather didn’t stop walkers and runners at this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure at Muskoseepi Park on Sunday.

Grande Prairie raised $49,945.66, money that will support breast cancer awareness and research and help find a cure.

Since 1992, the Run has raised over $430 million dollars in Canada.
