(Sept. 27) A group of kids were doing more than going for a ride on a school bus in Fort St. John last month.

According to a media release from Fort St. John RCMP, on August 26, 2018, at 7 a.m., police received a report of a stolen School District 60 bus from seven hours earlier. Surveillance footage from the bus shows three males and two females on board. Police later located the bus outside of the City and discovered it had been vandalized. The youths caused roughly $5,000 in damages.

The bus was returned to the School District before the first day of school.
