Grande Prairie RCMP want public’s help identifying suspect
Grande Prairie RCMP looking for a man who allegedly pointed a gun at a Highway 40 truck driver.
On November 11, 2017, at 10:11 a.m., a semi-truck was on a service road when a black pickup truck pulled out in front, according to the RCMP release.
“The black pick-up truck approached a three-way intersection and turned onto Big Mountain Road. When the semi-truck pulled up to the intersection, the driver noticed that the black pick-up truck was backing up a short distance,” said the release.
A male driver was witnessed getting out of the truck and grabbing what appeared to be a long-barrel firearm from the back seat. He pointed it at the semi-truck driver, and the driver continued through the intersection without incident. The RCMP said no shots were fired and no one was injured.
