2nd annual Fight For Hope was a knockout

This year’s edition of the Fight For Hope punched its way to a milestone.

Co-Founder Scotty Cartwright says the event, which took place on April 28, blew his initial guess of $100,000 in donations out of the water.

“There was $127,000 in cash raised at the event. But, in total support with Gift In Kind, donations, reduced rates and everything included, the amount raised for the event was $250,000.”

He was blown away by the magnitude of the event in its second year.

“For only a second annual event [it is the] largest boxing ticketed event in the Peace Region and in Canada for the Ronald McDonald House and Kids With Cancer Society.”
