Freson Bros. to close south-side store

Freson Bros. has announced it will be closing its south-side location.

Freson Bros. first opened a store in Grande Prairie in 1974 and opened a second store in 1982.

“Reaching the decision to close one of its retail stores in Grande Prairie was not an easy one to make.  However, Freson Bros. remains committed to serving all patrons at its North location with a unique Alberta food experience,” the company said in a media release.

After decades of serving Grande Prairie, Freson Bros. has decided not to renew the lease in the Southview Shopping Centre.

“Freson Bros. wants to recognize the contribution of the many extraordinary team members and thank them for their many years of dedicated service to the community.”
