RCMP turn up $85K and cocaine during search of Grande Prairie home

RCMP turned up $85,000 and cocaine during a search of a Grande Prairie home last Friday. 

The Grande Prairie RCMP Drug Unit executed a search warrant on a residence and a vehicle which resulted in the arrest of a man and woman. 

During the search, police turned up the drugs and cash.

27-year-old Lydia Sahale Mamo and 25-year-old Salah Abbiahkim Omar of Grande Prairie are facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.
