Athletics look to even NPHL Final

The Grande Prairie Athletics will return to the friendly confines of the Coca-Cola Centre Tuesday night as they host the Dawson Creek Canucks in Game 2 of the North Peace Hockey League Final.

The Athletics dropped Game 1 Saturday night in Dawson Creek 3-1 and trail the best of seven series 1-0.

Home has been kind to the Athletics so far in the post-season.

They currently own a 5-1 record at the Coca-Cola Centre.

Meanwhile, the Dawson Creek Canucks are going into Tuesday night’s game with a perfect 5-0 record in the 2019 NPHL playoffs.

Face-off for Game 2 of the NPHL Final is at 8:30 p.m.
