Fatal MVC north of Fort St. John

One person was killed and two injured following a single-vehicle collision Sunday north of Fort St. John.

RCMP say it happened around 10:15 p.m. on Rose Prairie Road.

The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The two passengers were taken to the Fort St. John Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and released soon after.

Mounties continue to investigate and say speed may have been a factor.
