Snowfall warning ends after 7 centimetres falls Thursday
Nov 16, 2018 | 5:38 AM
Seven centimetres of snow fell in Grande Prairie before midnight Thursday, but before the snow, we had rain, 4.8 mm of it.
This made for very poor driving conditions, with travel not recommended in parts of west and northwest Alberta yesterday.
We are hearing reports this morning that highways around Grande Prairie are partially covered with snow and ice and there are some very slippery sections. If you must travel today, please drive with caution.
The snowfall warning has now ended for the region.
