OHS Investigating workplace fatality in Clairmont

Occupational Health and Safety is investigating after an employee was killed on the job at a worksite in Clairmont.

According to Alberta Labour, the worker, who was in his early 30’s, was fatally injured on the evening of May 11, 2018, when he was caught between two derricks at Precision Drilling.

A stop use order is in place for the use of derricks at the Precision Drilling worksite while the investigation is underway.
