Ten charges have been laid after an alleged altercation at a downtown Grande Prairie bar early Saturday morning.
A fight inside a bar near 98 Street and 100 Avenue led to one man pulling a weapon and doing what police describe as “brandishing it in a threatening manner”. The man then ran outside and got into a parked vehicle. Other bar patrons followed him outside. Police came soon after and made an arrest.
The RCMP say the weapon was a knife.
The charges against 29-year-old Dionne Trahey include assault with a weapon, careless use of a firearm and two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm.
