First cannabis retailer opens in Grande Prairie

Grande Prarie has it’s first cannabis retailer.
 
Lucky Leaf Cannabis on 100 Street opened Saturday. It is closed for Christmas now but will re-open Thursday.
 
City Hall has approved development permits for 10 cannabis retailers in Grande Prairie. 

The store posted the following on it’s Facebook page Sunday.

Hi Lucky Leaf Family! We made history yesterday when we became the first store in g.p. to sell retail cannabis. We have been working hard to make sure we opened our doors before Christmas for you. We want to thank everyone who showed up last night and gave us some love! It was so rewarding to see our customers’ eyes light up when they entered the store. Your big smiles are what makes this job so rewarding. We are closed for The Christmas holidays to spend time with our loved ones. Our hours for next week are:

Thursday 27th 2018: 5pm-9pm
Friday 28th 2018: 12pm-9pm
Saturday 29th 2018: 12pm-9pm
Sunday 30th 2018: 1pm-5pm
