Clocks fall back this Sunday
This Sunday Albertans will be turning back their clocks by one hour and this means darker mornings.
Doctor Albert De Villiers with Alberta Health Services in Grande Prairie has tips on preparing yourself for the switch.
“It takes a few days to get used to it. I just say to switch your clocks as soon as you can. The day before you can live in the new time…if you know what I mean. Go to bed a little bit earlier or a little later depending on if it is spring or fall to make sure you adjust as soon as possible.”
He says some people develop “seasonal depression” or “Seasonal Affective Disorder” when it starts to get cold and dark in the winter.
