Staff at local store arrive to major damages

Staff at Intersport arrived to quite the scene this morning as the front window of the store was completely smashed in.

According to surveillance video, around 5 a.m. a person in a truck backed right through the glass store front, took a few items from the front of the store and then took off.

Management at Intersport tells EverythingGP the suspect mostly got away with apparel including jackets and hoodies.  The little amount that was taken from the store is nothing compared to the extensive amount of damages that was done when the glass was shattered.

Grande Prairie RCMP confirm they are investigating.
