Feb 3, 2018 | 5:55 AM

The Grande Peace Athletic Club is holding their first ever GPAC Day in Clairmont this afternoon at the Crosslink County Sportsplex.

The day will feature three of the club teams playing consecutively.

GPAC President Tyler Stojan explained that this event is about getting exposure for the teams and it’s players.

“What we are trying to do is create awareness for our players, coaches, and our program within our city and the region here in the peace country.”

The Midget AAA Ernie’s Sports Experts Storm face St.Albert at 2:00 p.m., the Bantam AAA Global Bus Lines Storm go up against the Leduc Oil Kings at 4:45 p.m., and the GPAC Boston Pizza Storm host the Lloydminster Bobcats at 7:15 p.m.

The event will also feature a progressive 50/50, a silent auction, and a chance for residents to vote on the clubs jerseys for next season.

The entire day is free of charge to the public.
