Travel not advised on Highway 43 east of Grande Prairie

Whitecourt and Fox Creek RCMP are advising against unnecessary travel on Highway 43.

Mounties and emergency crews have responded to numerous collisions Friday morning and say fortunately no injuries have been reported.

Traffic is slow moving as the highway is slippery and if you must travel you are asked to “travel with caution, ensure your headlights are on, reduce speed, and increase following distance.”
