Over 100 people took the oath on Thursday, now Canadian citizens
There are 102 new and excited Canadian citizens that were sworn in at the Holiday Inn Conference Centre on Thursday afternoon.
Major Claude Villeneuve, a former member of the Canadian Forces for nearly 40 years, gave some background on your typical Canadian values.
“Canadians treat others the way they would like to be treated. That may include a smile, saying good morning or a handshake.”
Villeneuve says becoming a Canadian citizen comes with rights and responsibilities.
