Collision north of Sexsmith involving transport truck

Grande Prairie RCMP were called to two collisions on Highway 2 earlier in the day.

Officers attended one at 12:21 p.m. and a rollover at 12:31 p.m.

Corporal Shawn Graham says that as of 2:20 p.m., they can’t confirm injuries in either collision.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a collision just north of Sexsmith.

According to a source, a transport truck was upside down in the ditch and a black pick-up truck may have been involved.

At around 2 p.m., traffic was moving slowly southbound.

We will have more information as it becomes available.
