Crews assist with house fire on Horse Lake First Nation

A single family home has extensive damage after a fire on Horse Lake First Nation on Wednesday afternoon. 

Beaverlodge Fire Chief Stan Metcalfe says yesterday at 4:50 p.m., his department was called in to help Hythe, Wembley and Horse Lake crews battle the blaze. 

He says when they arrived the home was “fully involved” in flames. 

Members of the home were all accounted for, but they will be displaced from their home, according to Metcalfe.
