Controversial film screening in GP Monday

On Monday night a controversial, award-winning film will be screened in Grande Prairie.
It is called The Red Pill and as spokesperson Stewart Loewen explains it is about self-proclaimed feminist Cassie Jay documenting the Men’s Rights Movement.
“The movie gets mislabelled as being misogynistic,” said Loewen. “It’s quite eye-opening and polarizing because people think it is trying to keep women in a subservient position where it is not. It is just trying to say that there are issues that men are facing and want to bring them to light.”
The showing is at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Grande Prairie Live Theatre and will be followed by an hour-long question and answer period with the audience.
