Grande Prairie man charged with sexual assault

A complaint from a woman has led to three charges against a Grande Prairie man, one of which is sexual assault. 
 
Brendan Wheelan, 28-years-old and from Grande Prairie, has also been charged with assault and break and enter.
 
Local Mounties say they got a complaint December 3 from a woman who told them she had been sexually assaulted by a man she met on a dating app.
 
This matter is now before the courts, and RCMP will not be releasing any more information.
