Alberta politicians offer condolences after Ethiopian Airlines crash

Alberta politicians, including Premier Rachel Notley, are offering condolences to victims of Sunday’s Ethiopian Airlines crash.
Family of Edmonton resident Amina Ibrahim Odowaa say the woman and her five-year-old daughter were on board the jet that went down after it took off from the Addis Ababa airport.
Gladys Kivia, a domestic violence counsellor with the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter, has also confirmed her husband, Derick Lwugi, was also among the victims.
The accountant who worked for the city leaves behind three children, aged 17, 19 and 20.
