Road teams earn wins Tuesday in NPHL

Jan 24, 2018 | 6:23 AM

It wasn’t a good night for home teams in the North Peace Hockey League Tuesday.

The Fort St.John Flyers travelled to Dawson Creek and doubled up the Canucks 6-3, and Grimshaw scored a massive 6-2 victory over Manning.

With the win, Fort St.John moves to within one point of the Grande Prairie Athletics for first place in the West Division with the two teams colliding Thursday night in Fort St.John.

Grimshaw, on the other hand, is now set to finish as the third seed in the East Division as Tuesday night was their final game of the Regular Season.

Action in the league will resume on Thursday when Fort St.John welcomes Grande Prairie in a first-place showdown, and High Prairie travels to Falher.
