Storm get back in the win column in Drayton Valley
The Grande Prairie Storm kicked off their three game in three night road trip Thursday night in Drayton Valley with a 6-4 win.
Grande Prairie would come out flying in the first period as Connor Blake would score 32 seconds into the first period which sparked a four goal opening frame.
Drayton Valley would cut the deficit to just one in the middle stanza, but two quick goals in the middle frame would lift the Storm to a 6-3 advantage.
The Thunder would score one in the third, but that was as close as they would come as Grande Prairie would walk away with the two points in the 5th meeting of the season between the two North Division rivals.
