Fire advisory issued for GPFA

Several factors have led to a fire advisory being put in place for the Grande Prairie Forest Area.
 
Alberta Agriculture and Forestry says those the include the hot, dry weather, low visibility, and limited resources.

The County of Grande Prairie has issued its own fire advisory. It also takes Hythe, Wembley, Beaverlodge, and Sexsmith. 
 
Existing burn permits are still valid, although no new ones will be issued.
 
Permit holders are asked to follow all conditions before doing any burning.
