Toronto man charged after FSJ Airport disturbance

Jan 18, 2018 | 10:20 AM

A disturbance that led to a closure of the Fort St. John airport for a short time Tuesday has led to charges against a 51-year-old man from Toronto.

Fort St. John RCMP say they were called just before 6:30 Tuesday night.

Police closed the airport until they determined this was an isolated incident, not a security threat.

Steven Page is facing charges that include assault, uttering threats, and mischief.

He made his first court appearance Wednesday, where bail was set at $10,000.
