More roads closed in MD of Greenview

23 roads are closed throughout the MD of Greenview and 65 hazardous locations have been marked due to flooding.

New road closures were added overnight in the DeBolt, Sunset House/Sweathouse, and Grovedale areas.

Greenview officials remind motorists to not move or drive through barricades or cut hazard tape.

They add recovery plans are underway, with roads along school bus routes being prioritized for repairs.

Meanwhile, flood conditions in the Hamlets of DeBolt and Ridgevalley are challenging the municipal water and sewer systems.

All property owners are reminded that pumping flood water into the municipal sewer systems is prohibited.
