Aug 3, 2018 | 5:30 AM

The Western and World Pro chuckwagons will be racing again this weekend after some time off.

The Western Chuckwagon Association will race at the North Peace Stampede in Grimshaw tonight through Sunday.

The WCA has not had a full event since Teepee Creek, as the last two nights of racing set for the Manning Rodeo were rained out.

Lane Kimble is first in the season standings, followed by Ron Bolin, Dean Dreger, and Stompede champion Eric Rever.

The WPCA races in Strathmore tonight through Monday.

The last time World Pro wagons circled a track was at the Calgary Stampede.

Kurt Bensmiller leads the season standings. Grande Prairie’s Kirk Sutherland is third.
