Survey says more satisfaction among Saddle Hills County residents

Nov 28, 2018 | 4:30 AM

Saddle Hills County says its ratepayers seem to be more pleased with how things are going.

The County says its second resident satisfaction survey showed double-digit increases for satisfaction levels with solid waste management and road repair, both winter and summer, along with gravel road repair.

Nearly everyone who took part, 93 percent, said they were satisfied or very satisfied with County employees, up from 92 percent last time.

Eighty-one percent of residents say they are satisfied or very satisfied with the overall direction of the County.

Roads, country atmosphere, and friendly, kind residents were seen as the top three things contributing to a high quality of life.

The top three negatives were road maintenance, long distances to facilities, and poor cell phone service.
