Town of Sexsmith releases unofficial list of candidates for By-Election

Update (Nov. 21): The 24-hour period passed Tuesday and the list of candidates remained the same. 

(Nov. 20): The Town of Sexsmith is set to have a Municipal By-Election on December 17th, and Monday the Town released the list of unofficial candidates who will be vying for seats.

The following candidates have submitted nomination forms:

Candidates do have 24 hours to withdraw from the close of nomination which was 12 p.m. Monday.

An official list of candidates will be released Tuesday afternoon following the 24-hour period.

A By-Election was triggered following the death of Mayor Claude Lagace at the end of September.
