It’s an exciting time in Alberta’s capital as the Edmonton Oil Kings return to the WHL post-season.

One of the big reasons why the club has had so much success is because of Dawson Creek product Wyatt McLeod.

The 2000 born defenceman is in his 3rd season with the Oil Kings where he registered 4 goals and 15 assists in 66 games.

He was also named an Assistant Captain at the beginning of the season.

McLeod’s Oil Kings finished 1st in the WHL’s Central division with a 42-18-4-4 record and will meet the Medicine Hat Tigers in the opening round of the WHL playoffs.

The series begins Saturday night in Edmonton.
