Dunvegan Gas Plant fire currently under investigation

An investigation is under way into what caused the fire at the Dunvegan Gas Plant near Fairview.

Last night at around 8 p.m. the Fairview Volunteer Fire Department was called after a fire broke out within an isolated part of the facility.

Canadian Natural Resources says the fire was extinguished with no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.

Damages are now being assessed and early indications are that it appears to be minimal.
