Rajput running as Independent in Grande Prairie riding

Mar 22, 2019 | 2:59 PM

Another candidate has surfaced in the Grande Prairie riding for the April 16 election.

Rony Rajput is running as an Independent and will join the UCP’s Tracy Allard, the NDP’s Todd Russell, the Alberta Party’s Grant Berg and Freedom Conservative candidate Bernard Hancock in the race to become the MLA for the Swan City.

Rajput ran to become Mayor of Grande Prairie in the 2017 municipal election but was forced to withdraw his name because he had a County home address.
