New Horizon CO-OP buys Beaverlodge TGP

New Horizon CO-OP is expanding into Beaverlodge.

It it has purchased the TGP store in that community.

It will close as TGP on April 29 and re-open as a CO-OP May 2.

All the current Beaverlodge TGP employees will be kept on when the change in ownership happens.

This will bring the number of communities with a New Horizon CO-OP grocery store to seven.

The others are Grande Prairie, Rycroft, La Glace, Valleyview, Falher, and Grande Cache.

New Horizon CO-OP is also building a new grocery store store on the north side of Grande Prairie. It should be open in August.
