A combined $55,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of B.C. murder suspect Brandon Nathan Teixeira. He is wanted for the murder of a 28-year-old Surrey man back on October 23, 2017.

Teixeira has been connected to the Grande Prairie area, after Skip the Dishes couriers received a warning from the company on Monday that Teixeira could be ordering take out in the Swan City, as well as the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, Calgary and Edmonton.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team in B.C. has boosted its efforts in locating the 27-year-old, after a warrant had been put out on September 6, 2018 for his arrest on charges of first-degree murder. IHIT have done so by partnering with both Crime Stoppers and the Bolo program, who have teamed up to offer the cash reward.

“We know that Brandon Teixeira has associates throughout Alberta and he may have made his way out here from B.C.,” says Corporal Frank Jang of IHIT. “Brandon Teixeira poses a significant risk to the safety of whatever community he is in and we need all Albertans to be on the lookout for him. If you see him, do not approach him but call 911 immediately.”

To be eligible for the reward, information can be reported to RCMP or the IHIT information line at 1-877-551-IHIT (4448). Tips can also be sent in anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.solvecrime.ca. The reward is available for an initial period of six months.
